LCM Calculator

It is used to determine the least common multiple of two integer numbers. This calculator uses a simple program that executes the calculations in lesser time. There are two text fields where you enter the first and second integer numbers to be calculated. The two controls of the calculator are active and carry out different functions. The ‘Calculate’ button is used to perform the calculation according to the values you have entered in the text fields. You can determine the least common multiple of the integer numbers within a single click.

The ‘X’ button is used to erase all data of the previous calculations from the various text fields. It is the fastest way of resetting the calculator when you want to perform new calculations. This calculator not only determines the least common multiple (LCM) but also gives the greatest common divisor (GCD) of the two values. The results will be displayed in the bottom platform of the calculator below the two controls.

For example;
Determine the least common factor of 6 and 8

Solution;
The initial step is to enter 6 and 8 in the first and second text fields respectively. Afterwards, press the ‘Calculate’ button to initiate the calculation.

The results will be displayed as;

Least common multiple (LCM) = 24

Greatest common divisor (GCD) = 2

The least common multiple calculator can only be used to determine the LCM of integer numbers and not fractions or decimals. It can also be used to determine the least common multiple of larger values.

For example;
Determine the least common multiple of 789 and 550

Solution
The initial step is to enter 789 and 550 in the first and second text fields respectively. Afterwards, click the ‘Calculate’ button to perform the calculation.

The result will be displayed as;

Least common multiple (LCM) =433950

Greatest common divisor (GCD) = 1
